We believe in leaving the planet in better shape than the way we found it. When it comes to product development, we take sustainability very seriously. We use FSC Certified post-consumer recycled paper and board in our outer packages, like in our Nail Artist, Full Up, candle, and Lip R&R boxes. Not only do these materials come from recycled sources, but of course, they're recyclable as well. Our glass bottles are also made of up of 50% post-consumer recycled glass.
Recycling is important and necessary, especially within the beauty industry. We work alongside Terracycle to use their no-waste boxes to recycle hard to recycle materials. Just email us at customer@emilieheathe.com and we walk you through how to send your cosmetics empties to us; they don't have to be from our brand.
We go beyond sustainability to make sure our products leave a better impact on you and the planet. This is one of the many reasons we formulate our product line cleanly and with the most minimal ingredients possible. We marry high ingredient performance with an eco-conscienti mindset, taking the environmental and health impacts of each of our ingredients into account, and finding solutions to make low-footprint and low-risk ingredients shine. We are also proud members of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of annual sales to environmental causes and solutions; because simply saying we're clean isn't enough.
We never test on animals, and we will never work with any manufacturers, suppliers, or markets that requires us to do so. Our Vanity Box is PU vegan leather and we donate 10% of these sales to our partners at Animal Haven, a New York City-based no-kill shelter.
