When did you launch your product line?

December 2017.  But it has been a 17-year long journey to create the Emilie Heathe brand. 

When will you launch your lipcolor and the rest of the product line?

We are currently planning on introducing the full Emilie Heathe beauty line in early 2018. Share your email below and we will keep you up to date on launches and celebrations!

Can I change my order?

Do you test on animals?

We don’t test on animals, just on each other.

Are you paraben free?

Yes, we are paraben free! We are extremely selective about the ingredients we use in our products, and have a very long list of unsafe and sensitizing ingredients that we will never use.

What does 10 free mean?

Would you ever want to dip your hands and feet in formaldehyde? We didn’t think so. However, as many as 10 major toxic chemicals can still be found in many nail lacquers. We actually reformulated before launch to take out an ingredient that is commonly used in nail lacquer when we found out about a new study showed that it may cause harm. Our Nail Artist is free of Parabens, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Toluene, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide,Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), tert-Butyl Hydroperoxide (TBHP) and animal derived ingredients. 

Why do my nail polishes separate?

By its nature nail polish will separate over time. Not too worry, we included mixing balls inside the bottle to help fix this issue. But there are ways to prevent separation. 

Keep your nail polish in a cool, dry place - Humidity increases the likelihood nail polish will separate. Do not store nail polish in areas of your home like the bathroom. Instead, store your nail polish in a cool, dry place. We also enjoy doing our nails outside while on vacation or during the summer. Unfortunately, the hot air and humidity will cause the polish to thicken up quickly and lead to an uneven thick application. A thick application is also more likely to chip.

Store nail polish upright. If nail polish is stored on its side, it's much more likely to separate. Always store nail polish upright but feel free to carry your polish when heading to the salon!

Secure the cap tightly before storing your polish. In addition to separating, nail polish can develop problems like drying out if the cap is not secure. Make sure to twist the cap tightly closed.

How does each product come packaged?

Each of our products come in beautiful boxes. We encourage you to reuse and travel with them! We also use recycled paper on our boxes, because one just should!

Do I need a basecoat or topcoat? When will you launch yours?

We always recommend using a basecoat or topcoat. Ours will launch in 2019. A basecoat will provide a smoother finish and longlasting wear and prevent nail-staining. We did, however, test out our NAIL ARTIST without a basecoat and it maintains a very longwear. Our formula has a very high shine finish. A topcoat will smooth the overall look and can help maintain shine. Be wary of Quick-Dry Top Coats. They are great for when you're on the go but they will decrease wear. Not to worry! We a formulating a specific topcot compatible with our formula that will not decrease wear time and will add an extra boost of shine!

When will I receive my order, and how much is shipping?

Your choice! Please see our shipping section for more details. All our orders currently ship via UPS or USPS ground to the lower 48 states. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more.

Returns/Exchanges

We offer returns on unopened and unused products, or products that were already damaged upon arrival within 14 days of being received. Please email info@emilieheathe.com with any concerns , or if you need to begin the return/exchange process.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we can ship domestically but international selling will begin very soon!
