No! We are extremely selective about the ingredients we use in our products, and have a very long list of unsafe, unethical, and irritating ingredients that we will never use.
10-FREE means our nail polish doesn’t contain 10 of the toxic ingredients in common nail products, such as Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, parabens, animal by-products, and fragrance.
By nature, nail polish will separate over time. Don't worry! We included mixing balls inside the bottle to help fix this issue. Just mix it up!
Here are some other ways to help prevent separation.
Keep your nail polish in a cool, dry place: Humidity increases the likelihood nail polish will separate. Do not store nail polish in areas of your home like the bathroom, which typically has a higher than average humidity level.
Don't paint your nails outside:Unfortunately, the hot air and humidity will cause the polish to thicken up quickly and lead to an uneven thick application. A thick application is also more likely to chip.
Store nail polish upright: If nail polish is stored on its side, it's much more likely to separate. Always store nail polish upright.
Secure the cap tightly before storing your polish: In addition to separating, nail polish can develop problems like thickening up and drying out when the cap is not secure.
Twist the product approximately 20 times or until you to see your product dispensing. The need to twist is to safeguard the product in transit, and to ensure it arrives as fresh as possible.
Each of our products come in beautiful boxes to protect it in transit and to provide a luxury unboxing experience. All of our boxes are made out of recycled paper, and we encourage you to reuse and recycle them.
A basecoat will provide a smoother finish, a longlasting wear, and will prevent nail-staining. Unfortunately, we haven't developed one of our own yet, however we did test our Nail Artist polishes without one, and it maintains a very long wear (about 7-10 days, depending on lifestyle, activities, and use).
Our Nail Artist formula has a high shine finish, and our On The Top Glossy Top Coat will help to maintain this, while smoothing out the polish below it.
