Warm, kind, and loving are just a few words that describe maternal figures. This year to celebrate Mother’s Day, our staff reached out to moms within our own personal circle to talk about beauty and the joys of motherhood. Read on for a short Q&A with four moms from our tight-knit community.
Choosing my favorite product is almost like choosing a favorite child! Our polish in shade Emma is named after my daughter. While developing this color, I showed her two different purples and she kept grabbing this one, so it’s what we ended up launching.
There are way too many to count, but I’ll never forget the first time I told my daughter I loved her and she responded back saying, “I love you too.”
After a long week or day out on the weekend, watching Netflix with my family is my favorite, but I also love doing puzzles or playing dress up with my daughter. We pick out each other’s outfits and do each other’s hair — it gets me out of mom mode and puts me into friend mode. It also reminds me of where my love for beauty came from as a kid.
Without question, my absolute favorite is the Emilie Heathe x Batman Collection™. It’s a razzle, dazzle, unique concept & collection of sparkling colors with packaging perfection. I have it on permanent display in the kitchen in order to look at it every day. Plus, I love giving it to friends – it’s a wonderful & memorable present.
Too many to isolate one but perhaps, it was Emily’s wedding in Spain in May 2017 that was orchestrated completely by themselves with key input & support from Kate, Emily’s sister.

The Perfect Red is my go-to pedi shade. It really is perfect — not too orange or too blue. A chic and classic choice.
All moments are cherished! I love small moments, like afternoon coffee dates, with both of my kids. My daughter is getting married in a month and planning this with her has been an amazing experience.
I am a dentist specialized in geriatrics and special needs, which is a very fulfilling job but it can take a lot out of me — mentally, physically, emotionally. So every Sunday (and whenever I am on vacation) I seek out a restful and restorative spa treatment like a massage or facial.
I absolutely love the As If lipstick. It is the perfect all in one lipstick. It gives just enough color for the day and can be intensified and feel more dramatic for the evening. Most importantly it has a lovely finish and lasts!
There has been a constant of special moments throughout the years but the most recent was when my 12 year old daughter, Amalya wrote a poem for school and the subject being an object that evokes memories. She chose to write about her favorite book as a toddler … it surprised me that she even remembered this specific book. I would sometimes read to her before bed and was deeply touched with the beautiful nostalgic feelings it left her with.
It goes between putting my mat down on the floor for a 20 minute yoga followed by a meditation to Friday evenings where I get to catch up on the week with my daughter and Ana, our Yorkie, over a lovely meal followed by a movie and snacks in bed!

Nursing both my girls. It’s such a special time to bond and it’s something only I can do for them. I feel so empowered that my body is making something that helps them develop and grow.
